VIBRATION & SOUND THERAPY

Vibration and sound therapy sessions utilize specific sounds and vibrations to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. These sessions can involve instruments like singing bowls, tuning forks, chimes and gongs, and various percussion instruments. The vibrations from these instruments can resonate with the body's cells, helping to release tension and promote a sense of balance.

sound healing

A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to NURTURE YOUR MIND AND BODY

Sound has the power to change not just our emotional and spiritual wellbeing, but our physical wellbeing too. Sound baths offer the intention of healing mind, body and emotions, as well as the transformation of consciousness, itself a path to wellbeing.

How it Works

Sound can produce changes in the immune, endocrine and neuropathic systems.  Every atom molecule, cell gland and organ absorbs and emits sound.  Sound helps to facilitate shifts in our brain waves by stabilizing frequencies.  By altering the rate of vibration we change the way we think.   â€‹

Sound sessions can reduce blood pressure and heart rate and relax the autonomic nervous system. Furthermore, the session can slow down our brainwaves, taking them from an awake and alert state to a more altered, deeply meditative state. The result is a lovely, drifty feeling, like the one we might feel just before we are about to go to sleep, which brings health benefits that enable us to be better able to respond openly to the demands of everyday life.

Experiencing Sound Therapy

The experience begins with each person lying down or seated in a comfortable position, often with a blanket and an eye mask. After a few minutes of guided focus on the breath, the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds and frequencies being introduced in succession. The sounds are created by a variety of overtone-emitting instruments including crystal singing bowls, planetary gongs, Himalayan bowls, tuning forks, chimes and percussion instruments.

These sounds have the potential to relax, realign and restore you on all levels and all you need to do is get comfortable and be open to absorbing them as they take you on a relaxing journey. You are free to relax and drift off where the sound takes you.

After a sound bath, participants may be advised to move slowly when transitioning to a seated position. We advise that you stay hydrated, get adequate rest, and stay relaxed.
